Do you have a word aversion?

I hate the word “moist” and our producer, Joe V hates the word “moist”, and it turns out we’re not alone.There is an academic term for this phenomenon, “word aversion”, and apparently it’s a combination of an unpleasant sound (oi) and an unpleasant connotation, (sliminess). Also, women tend to dislike the word “moist” more than men do.
