NJ Congressman LoBiondo to retire at end of term
ATLANTIC CITY — U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo will not seek reelection following the completion of his record-setting 12th term in office as the Republican representative for the 2nd Congressional District in New Jersey.
Harry Hurley, a personality on New Jersey 101.5 sister station WPG in Atlantic City, cited "well placed sources" in announcing the news on Tuesday.
A formal announcement from LoBiondo could come as early as Wednesday, according to Hurley.
LoBiondo has represented the South Jersey district since 1995. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee.
