Humid with Showers Possible: Alan’s Weather Blog

For the first time in several days, Newark Liberty Airport did not make 90.  They fell short, but were pretty close with a high of 88.

It was in the low to mid 80s elsewhere with a scattering of showers, mostly yesterday morning.

Today will be humid with lots of clouds, limited if any sun, and a few highs near 80, but it will mostly be in the 70s.  There are some showers, maybe in parts of the state today.  There could some heavier downpours, especially later this afternoon and this evening.

Then a few leftover showers overnight with lows from 64 to 74, and still humid.

Clouds and some sunshine Saturday with humidity and the chance of a shower.  Highs will be in the mid 80s, 70s near the ocean.

Becoming partly sunny, hot and humid Sunday with just the chance of a thunderstorm and highs near 90, closer to 80 at the beach.

Some ocean temperatures in the 50s may be rising somewhat now with winds off the ocean from the northeast today.
