An unspecified threat of violence posted on 4chan has colleges in Philadelphia and New Jersey cautioned, and us examining school ground safety.

How's your campus security? Should students and teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Kevin, who called from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, said his girlfriend goes to school in Philly and has lost sleep worrying about her safety there.

Rob, a 25-year-old former Rowan student said he often got alerts about robberies, including one outside his dorm. He said the frequent alerts caused paranoia, and might've made things worse.

George, a 47-year-old caller from Old Bridge, said that teachers who pass a background check should be able to attend a month-long training seminar during the summer that teaches them how to use guns. He also pointed out that Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws in the country along with the highest crime rate.

Jeff, a 28-year-old from the Jersey Shore said it's important to look at the facts because gun deaths occur for vastly different reasons (ex: gang violence versus a mental health disorder).
