How to pitch — Spadea prepares for the Atlantic League All Star Game

I have the distinct honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Atlantic League All Star Game in Somerset on Wednesday night. Somerset Patriots owner Steve Kalifer called in and asked me on air if I would do the honor.

Now that I have the big event coming up, I have to get in some practice throws and prepare for it. So I asked me producer Chris Swendeman to bring in a couple gloves and a ball that we could practice with.

Well, Chris did bring in the equipment, but I had a major problem with the ball. The ball wasn’t exactly up to Atlantic League standards, let’s just say that.
