Eric Scott, who was filling in for Jim this morning, discussed parents being up in arms over the alternatives being thrown around for how NJ school districts plan on making up for all the snow days being taken this winter.

Some schools have discussed making up for days on Saturdays which cause an uproar from parents, other schools have talked about taking away days from Spring break and others have mentioned adding days to the end of the school year.

Every scenario will draw complaints from parents depending on how it effects them directly. Whether it be a planned spring vacation, if there are Saturday plans or if parents paid for camp or other activities right after school ends in June.
