Patricia Krentcil is a New Jersey mom being accused of bringing her 5 year old daughter into a tanning booth. Patricia was arrested and charged with second-degree child endangerment as the tanning has caused burns to the young girl's body. While it has been reported that her daughter allegedly told her classmates that she "went tanning with Mommy," both Patricia and her husband Richard, are denying the claim saying that the 5 year old was never exposed to the booth's UV rays, but simply natural sunlight.

"It was 85 degrees outside, she got sunburned. That's it. That's all that happened." - Richard Krentcil

Looking at Patricia she is no stranger to the tanning bed. I would put money on her being on a first name basis with employees.

Patricia admits to bringing her daughter into Tropic's Tanning Salon but insists that she has her wait in the other room. This in it of itself is strange because who let's a 5 year old girl sit in a lobby by herself over a tanning appointment? If Patricia is telling the truth, and nothing wrong was done here, her appearance alone begs another question. When it comes to tanning, how much is too much? What are your thoughts?
