How I Lost 27 Pounds and Counting
On January 10, I stepped on the scale and was taken a back by the fact that without realizing it I weighed a whopping 250 pounds! It was the most I have ever weighed in my life and even at 6ft three it felt like a lot. I must admit I never saw it coming.
I exercise every single day doing at least 30 minutes a day on a Life Cycle that I purchased for my home and at least 3 times a week a 15 minute workout www.015workout.com that had given me great results as well as a false sense of security that all this working out had given me license to eat! Boy was I wrong.
I decided to take immediate action and on the advice of my trainer Mike Baretta who los 52 pounds simply by eliminating all processed sugar from his diet, decided to do the same. Since then I have lost an amazing 27 pounds and feel better than I have in years!
I eat all the meat, chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, fruits and vegetables I want and then get on the scale the next day and see how much weight I’ve lost. Gone is practically anything that comes in a box. No bread, pasta, crackers, snacks. Instead of ice cream and chips at night, I’ll eat fruit and nuts, mostly almonds, cashews and walnuts. I’m never hungry and sometimes eat so much that I worry about what the scale is going to read when I weigh myself, which is everyday. Then I find that I’m down.
If I do “cheat” occasionally, I know I can fix it. Also, since I’ve eliminated so much processed sugar from my diet, what little I do eat occasionally doesn’t really make a difference.
I write this because I read where a new study shows residents of Middlesex and Somerset counties are concerned about weight control. Aren’t we all?
