In light of the news story about possible ATM 'skimming' going on in Morris County, I discussed my own run in with fraud when my wife Jodi had her identity stolen. The crooks charged nearly $40,000 in her name! Eric shared his own story about a criminal stealing his identity and taking out a $20,000 loan in his name.

We got some good tips from listeners on how to best protect yourself. One of the best suggestions was from Mike in Camden County. Most of the millennials I know and work with use debit cards for purchases. Mike suggested that when using your debit card at stores select credit so you don't have to put in your pin! Smart.

You can find tips to avoid skimming from our past stories or from the Jefferson Township police Facebook page.
