The weekend forecast worked out well, with one exception.

I had thought Sunday if there were just the chance of a shower or thunderstorm, it would be in the northern and westernmost counties.

It was just the opposite. It was in parts of Central and South Jersey Sunday.  I know the Mets-Phillies game in Philadelphia was delayed by rain for about a half-hour.

Still, temperatures Sunday reached 89 at Newark Liberty Airport, 86 Trenton, and 87 in Wrightstown, Burlington County.  That's above the normal high of 83 to 84.

We have the chance of a shower or thunderstorm in a few parts of the state, especially as you get closer to the Delaware River today.  High temperatures this afternoon could be in the low 90s away from the ocean, where it'll be cooler.

The first part of the night there may be a shower chance before it dies out with very mild low temperatures.

Tuesday and Wednesday it should be, at least, in the low 90s or so, but cooler near the water.

There's just the chance of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow, probably not on Wednesday, although that remains to be seen.
