Two hospitals in New York City and one in northern New Jersey have been named "official health services providers" for the Super Bowl.
New York-Presbyterian, the Hospital for Special Surgery and Hackensack University Health Network will work with the Super Bowl host committee, the NFL and government agencies to ensure medical and emergency needs are met.
The first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl will take place on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
