Horse, Rider Rescued From Hamilton Mud Pit [VIDEO]

A horse and its rider that fell into a mud pit yesterday in Hamilton Township were successfully rescued after being stuck for two hours.

The unidentified rider of “Bruno” fell into a pit located on Old York Road near Sawmill Road according to WCAU TV which reports around sixty emergency responders came to their aide. Once they arrived it took about a half-hour to free them.

The woman suffered a minor shoulder injury; the horse was not injured.
