Twenty-two-year-old Jessica Peavy of Hopatcong, N.J., was sentenced in October 2011 in Frederick County Circuit Court to one year in prison with 14 years suspended. She had pleaded guilty to second-degree child abuse after the death of her 2-month-old daughter, Lexi Zirinsky, in November 2010 in Brunswick.

The baby's father, Jason Zirinsky, was convicted of first-degree child abuse resulting in death and was sentenced to 30 years.

On Friday, prosecutors say Peavy was ordered to serve the suspended 14 years of her sentence. The News-Post of Frederick reports that officials say she violated probation last year by using illegal drugs.
