Salons in Branchburg, Hillsborough Offer Free Hair Washes to Residents without Water

Two local salons eager to help their storm-ravaged communities are offering free hair washes to residents in areas where most people are still without power and running water.

BRANCHBURG, NJ - Tru Salon+Spa in Branchburg, NJ is offering free shampoos to all local residents without power, water today and tomorrow between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Walk ins are welcome, people can call ahead at (908) 218-9878. A salon representative says many of the townspeople are still without power and most residents have well-water.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ -  Beauty Solutions Salon is opening today and offering free hair washes to residents who don't have water. The salon address is 409 Highway 206 North in Hillsborough.

Salon representatives say walk-ins are welcome but anyone who wants to call ahead can call 908-431-1501 or 908-281-0878.

The salon will stay open today until 5:30 p.m.
