The men are charged with burglary and theft after a Sparta home was broken into Wednesday evening. They're being held in the Sussex County jail.

Authorities tell The Record of Woodland Park a task force monitoring the gang alerted local authorities, who apprehended them after their minivan was seen leaving the scene.

The "James Bond Gang" terrorized northern New Jersey and New York in the 1980s and 90s. Authorities believe the current group is emulating the original one by using high-tech gadgets.

The original group earned its nickname by driving a custom sports car equipped with secret compartments and a retractable license plate.
