Low pressure off the coast is churning the ocean and the National Weather Service says there is a high risk for rip currents through Tuesday evening.

Swimmers are urged to be cautious because most beaches are without lifeguards now that the summer tourism season is over.

A costal flood advisory also is in effect until early Wednesday. Forecasters say minor tidal flooding is possible during high tides.
