If you're going to tell a joke, tell THE joke. Tell the funniest joke ever told as determined by British researcher Richard Wiseman, who did the legwork for his new book "Ha! The Science of When We Laugh and Why."

Wiseman labored to understand the core of humor. Among his findings, the scientist determined that the funniest animal is apparently a duck. Well it's got the letter "k" in it which is always funny. Or as the Marx Brothers would say "Why a duck?" It wouldn't take Wiseman to figure out that in New Jersey, we like our humor aggressive, same as we like everything else, am I right?

So what is the funniest joke ever, according to the research? Well, here it is:

"Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He's not breathing and his eyes are glazed, so his friend calls 911.
'My friend is dead! What should I do?' The operator replies, 'Calm down, sir. I can help. First make sure that he's dead.'
There's a silence, then a loud bang. Back on the phone, the hunter says, 'OK, now what?'"

You know you laughed because I did as well. Imagine that. The funniest joke ever and Donald Trump's name is never mentioned. Late night hosts take note!
