Here are some great Jersey Shore events happening after Labor Day
Labor Day is behind us and the official summer season is over, but there's still plenty to do every weekend at the shore. This is my favorite time of year to hit the beach towns. Here are just a few events this coming weekend.
If you tend to avoid the shore in the summer because of traffic crowds, now is your time to check out some of the great things the Jersey Shore has to offer!
- Where: Ocean Pathway in Ocean Grove (from the Great Auditorium to Boardwalk)
- When: September 9th from 9 am - 4 pm
- Event details: Over 300 vendors selling new, used and antique items as well as a variety of food offerings. Rain or shine event!
- Where: Ocean City Tabernacle in Ocean City (13th & Asbury Ave on Friday; 6th & 14th St on Saturday)
- When: September 8th from 1 pm - 6 pm. September 9th from 8 am - 12 pm.
- Event details: Classic cars and delicious eats throughout Ocean City.
- Where: Great Lawn @ Pier Village in Long Branch
- When: September 10, 2017 from 9 am - 4 pm
- Event details: Another classic car show taking place along Pier Village.
- Where: Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City
- When: September 6th - 10th
- Event details: The preliminary competition will take place September 6th-8th, with the televised event taking place on September 10th at 9 PM, broadcasted on ABC.
- Where: Brielle Green Acres Park Union Lane at South St.
- When: September 9th from 9 am - 4 pm.
- Event details: The day starts off with a 5K race and the rest of the day is devoted to shopping over 165 crafters with their wares on display. The event's been held since 1972 in one of the Jersey Shore's' hidden gems.
- Where: Old New Jersey Ave in North Wildwood
- When: September 9th from 10 am - 10 pm
- Event details: Reggae music and food trucks on the beach at Olde New Jersey Ave. Admission is free!
- Where: Blaine Ave in Seaside Heights
- When: September 9th - 10th from 12 pm - 5 pm
- Event details: It's an upscale event with over a dozen New Jersey wineries and plenty of food venues too. There will be musical entertainment both days.
