It reached 90 again at Newark Liberty Airport, 89 in Atlantic City International Airport.

The normal high is 82 or 83, so we were way above normal.

High temperatures today will not be quite as warm, as eventually showers and possible thunderstorms will roll in.  South Jersey faces the threat of some heavy downpours.

Still, some highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.  It will be cooler at the beaches, and the ocean water temperatures are still in the very warm lower 70s.

Any shower or thunderstorm activity this evening will taper off overnight, becoming humid, with lows from 67 to 74.

Partly sunny and humid tomorrow with just the chance of a shower or thunderstorm, highs back in the 80s and cooler 70s near the ocean.

Some sunshine and humid Friday, maybe a shower but not much.  Highs will be in the mid 80s, but cooler again at the beach.

The long holiday weekend will have a shower or thunderstorm chance, specifically Sunday and especially Labor Day Monday.

Hopefully that will not interfere with too much in the way of your outdoor plans over the weekend.
