New Jersey is getting a reminder that summer isn't over.

Forecasters say heat and humidity will combine to make it feel like it's in the mid to upper 90s on Wednesday.

It's expected to remain humid on Thursday before thunderstorms are expected to sweep through the area.

For those looking to seek relief from the heat at the Jersey shore, there's an increasing chance for a moderate risk of rip currents on Thursday into Friday. Forecasters say that's because Tropical Storm Gabrielle will make its closest approach to the area as it moves out to sea.
