Teaneck police are asking for the public's help finding thieves who allegedly robbed a pharmacy of dozens of bottles of oxycodone at gunpoint.

According to police, on Sunday morning, two males entered Alvin’s Pharmacy on Cedar Lane, and robbed the store of 20-30 bottles of Oxycodone and 2-3 bottles of cough syrup.

One of the males brandished a silver handgun while the other went behind the pharmacy counter to steal the bottles, police said. Both had bandannas partially covering their faces, police said.

After committing the robbery, the two males left the store and fled on foot, westbound on Cedar Lane, police said.

The first male, who possessed the handgun, is described as a dark-complexioned black male, 25 to 30 years of age, 5 feet and 9 inches tall and weighing more than 200 pounds. He was was wearing blue jeans, boots, a black leather jacket, and a hooded sweatshirt, police said.

The second is described as a dark-complexioned black male, 25 to 30 years of age, 6 feet tall and weighing over 200 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket with a hood, a red shirt, and camouflage pants, police said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact the Teaneck Police Department at 201-837-2600. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can contact the Tri Community Crime Stoppers at 201-833-4222 which pays up to $1,000 cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of offenders.
