MIDDLE TOWNSHIP — A 50-year-old man diagnosed with Huntington's Disease and with a history of suicide attempts has been reported missing, and police are asking for the public's help to find him.

Michael Carty is described as a bald man, standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen at around 3:50 Sunday afternoon, police said.

He has made suicidal statements to his family, and has attempted suicide as recently as six weeks ago, police said. Carty's statements included that he "would be found at the bottom of the bay," police said.

He was last seen driving a white 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with the license plate N40EUF.

Authorities are asking anyone  with information about his whereabouts to call the Middle Township Police Department at 609-465-8700.
