Atlantic City police are asking for the public's help in identifying and capturing a suspect who allegedly shot a man on Caspian Avenue last month.

Authorities say one male was wounded in the incident, which occurred on Feb. 21. According to the Atlantic City police Department's Violent Crimes Unit, an image of the suspect was captured on a video surveillance camera. The suspect, police said in a statement, appears to be a black male. he was seen wearing a light blue denim jacket with a dark hood. In addition, he was wearing an orange hat with blue trim, blue jeans and white sneakers with blue trim.

Police are asking any member of the public with information regarding to shooting or the suspect to call Atlantic City PD's Violent Crimes Unit at 609-347-5788.
