Today would have been Kurt Cobain's 45th birthday. That's right, Cobain would have only been 45 if he were alive today. Do you realize how long of a shelf life rock artists have? Especially if they're admired by pop culture?

Just look at what's happening right now. Look at the music acts who can still sell out arenas and stadiums on a consistent basis. Bruce, U2, Green Day and The Foo Fighters, just to name a few. All of the acts I've named have been around for what seems like forever. The exception being The Foo Fighters, but hey, who knows if they'd even exist if Cobain were still around.

Nirvana, whether you love them or hate them (there doesn't seem to be much middle ground on this opinion), changed music forever. If they were still around today, who knows what they could have done. It's a question with no answer, but there's nothing wrong with wondering. I'm sure tickets would cost hundreds of dollars though!
