Happy 71st Birthday, Clarence Clemons

Today would have been Bruce Springsteen's longtime sidekick, Clarence "Big Man" Clemons' 71st birthday.

January 11th is also now known as "Clarence Clemons Day" in the state of New Jersey. According to the West Orange Patch,

The state Senate passed a resolution sponsored by Senator Jennifer Beck (R-11) that memorializes the legendary saxophonist from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

I was lucky enough to interview Clarence Clemons about a year before he passed away. I had a chance to snap this picture with him. If you look closely, his legendary saxophone is in the shot.
