The hackers who got into the Ashley Madison website appear to be carrying out their threat to publish the data on the internet. This begs the question: what were these people thinking when they entered their info in the first place?

In a perfect world, if you’re going to have an affair, they only people who should know about it are you and the person you’re having the affair with. That’s usually not the case since it’s human nature that when you’ve got a secret, especially one of that magnitude, you have to tell someone, and they tell someone, and so on. But to enter personal info to a database that’s selling mistrust just boggles the mind.
