According to a story in the Los Angeles Times, ice creamer maker Haagen-Dazs is introducing two of the least likely ice cream flavors you’ve ever heard of. Are you ready for this?

The two flavors are tomato-cherry and carrot-orange, and no, that’s not supposed to be cherry tomato or any other combination that might make sense. The good news for us is that these flavors are only going to be introduced in Japan.

The tomato cherry is made with cherry juice and tomato paste, and the carrot orange has carrot juice and orange juice. I really can’t see a scenario that those flavors would be even mildly palatable for ice cream.
