Guy Who Got Kicked In The Face Is Getting Rich

I would say “only in America”, but it’s not an American story. Remember that video I posted last week of the guy getting kicked in the face while taking a selfie?

Well, now he’s cashing in; apparently I wasn’t the only one taken by the humor in the video. Twenty-two million views later, the guy, Jared Frank, is fielding offers to provide content. Frank, a Canadian who took the famous video while visiting Peru, has signed with a company called Jukin Media, which is going to help him monetize his famous video. The CBC reports that the deal could net the 22 year old $30,000-250,000.

He says he is also being courted by management firms; I guess people are counting on this kid getting kicked in the face a few more times.
