The 19-year-old assailant, Geddy Kramer, did not give a direct explanation of why he targeted co-workers on April 29, armed with a shotgun and homemade explosives. Kramer wrote that his attack was the result of a "several month snap." He called himself a sociopath who wanted to hurt people. He also wrote that he was sexually frustrated.

"This was the result of my own issues: mental instability, depression, frustration, sexual isolation," the gunman wrote, according to a copy of the note posted online by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I know I shouldn't complain. I've got a comfortable place to sleep. Warm food."

He said that being infamous was better than being "just another nobody."

Kramer wrote that he attempted to get help from a therapist and also took several drugs. One part of his writings appear to be a listing of supplies for the attach including, a shotgun and shells.

Investigators have said they may never know what specifically prompted the violence.
