Great weather & events happening this weekend at the Jersey Shore
This weekend's weather promises to feel like late spring here in New Jersey. Luckily for you, there are plenty of things to do outdoors to enjoy it up and down the Jersey Shore.
From costume parties to Oktoberfests, there's something for New Jerseyans of all ages. Here are just a few things to check out along the Jersey Shore this weekend.
- When: Saturday, October 21st, from 11:30 AM until 5:00 PM
- Where: Washington Street, Toms River
- Details: Live entertainment and street performers all day. Fun activities for kids: inflatable rides, pumpkin decorating, haystack maze, coloring page contest. Adult fun: apple cider donut eating contests, scarecrow contest, fall dessert contest. Plus beer garden and football games on large-screen TVs.
- When: Friday, October 20th at 7:00 PM
- Where: Landis Avenue between 40th and 46th Street, Sea Isle City
- Details: The parade features a wide variety of eye-catching costumes, floats, musical entertainment and mascots. Dance Party Immediately following parade at Excursion Park.
- When: Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Where: Excursion Park in Sea Isle City
- Details: The celebration will feature live German music, vendors, free hayrides on the beach, magic acts, pumpkin painting and other children's entertainment (including a giant rock-climbing wall) and a fantastic Pie Baking Contest
- When: October 20th thru 21st, and 27th thru 28th from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- Where: The Historic Village at Allaire in Farmingdale
- Details: Spooky Hayrides, Storytelling, Ghost Hunting, & More! $15 Per Adult, $10 Children for Under 12.
- When: Saturday, October 21st from 10:00 AM thru 4:00 PM
- Where: First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands
- Details: Stroll down Atlantic Highlands’ main street while appreciating over 100 collectible cars, shopping at stores and vendors and listening to music provided by several different bands. This event is free to attend and family friendly.
- When: Saturday October 21st from 12:00 PM thru 3:00 PM
- Where: Riley Park in Bradley Beach
- Details: This dog festival and parade will feature a Canine Costume Contest and a Tom Petty tribute band.
