What goes into being as ghoulish as can be?

New Jersey 101.5 checked out the Six Flags Great Adventure Fright Fest workshop for a behind-the-scenes look at the freaky fun. There, a team of skilled makeup artists worked with dozens and dozens of enthusiastic undead who'd made it through the annual event's audition process to get them properly spooky.

Our own Eric Scott even got in on the action (learn more about his experience and hear from the zombies themselves here):

Be sure to check out more of Tony Mandile's work at AnatomyFX.com, on Facebook or on Instagram @FXTony. Got a project in mind? Reach him at TonyM@AnatomyFX.com or 732-604-0212.

Fright Fest continues at Six Flags Great Adventure through Nov. 1. See the Fright Fest site for more information.
