The Republican governor and likely presidential candidate will travel to Cedar Grove on Thursday to host his 136th New Jersey town hall event.

He took his show on the road to New Hampshire for the first time last week. He held two town halls in the early-voting state, including one Friday evening at a sports bar in Exeter.

Christie has been holding the events weekly to tout his proposals to overhaul the state's public worker pension system and use health care cost savings to pay off the exiting liability.

Thursday's event will take place at the Essex County College Police Academy at 11 a.m.
