‘Go Insane’ by Lindsey Buckingham – Doyle’s ‘Not-So-Top-10′
Lindsey Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, ushering in a period of incredible success for the band (Stevie Nicks joined at the same time). He had a somewhat successful solo career percolating during his time with the band. His biggest hit, “Trouble” was a Top 10 hit in 1982. In 1983 he had a minor hit with the song “Holiday Road” from the movie “National Lampoon’ Vacation”; the song cracked the Hot 100, but barely- it peaked at #82. The forgotten gem that I requested, “Go Insane”, was his last foray into the Top 40, peaking at #23 in 1984.
Big Joe did not play it for me.
But enjoy the video with me below.
