Herzlich, who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer after being named the Atlantic Coast Conference top defensive player at Boston College, tells his story in his new book 'WHAT IT TAKES; Fighting for My Life and Love Of The Game.'

Mark discusses the decision he made to seek treatment that could have cost him his life and the role his father played in that decision and how they beat it together. He also talks about going to to not only play pro football but become starting middle linebacker for the New York Giants. Herzlich also talks about his attempt to join the cast of "Game Of Thrones" and the one favor Steve asks of him as a Giant that doesn't involve the Super Bowl.
