It's called wearable technology. Think Google Glass. But in this case it's a shirt that can send a hug to your significant other (or just annoyingly close constantly hugging friends) from anywhere on the planet. This CNN video will explain how it works, but basically it allows you to send a vibration in the exact spots on the wearer's shirt where you want them to feel your hug.

Now guys, imagine you have an overly clingy girlfriend. You're in the middle of a business meeting trying to make a presentation. Or you're lying down for a quick power nap when you're roused out of a sound sleep. Do you really want hugs coming at you left and right, out of nowhere, all day long? Never knowing when the next phantom vibrating hug will take place? I think this is a great invention...as a form of mental torture.
