Gas Leak Reported At Abandoned Camden School

Fire and gas crews are at the abandoned Powell Elementary School in Camden investigating reports of a gas leak.A loud hissing noise was heard and an odor detected by those first on the scene causing them to immediately leave the building according to WPVI TV.

The school is located in the 1000 block of Linden Avenue.

Police are detouring traffic around the school near 10th and Chester Streets.
