Earlier this week, there was the story of the 75 man and 64 year old woman who were pummeled by a much younger assailant in Garfield. This morning's Star-Ledger had the story that the accused thug, Robert DeJesus, has had his license suspended over three dozen times over the past 20 years.

What does a person have to do to get their license revoked for good in this state? Seriously, I couldn't even find the phrase "license revocation" on the New Jersey MVC website. You would thinks after his license had been suspended two dozen times, someone would say "I think we have a large enough sample. This moron is a menace and should forfeit his right to drive in New Jersey." Then we wouldn't have to read about a 75 year old man being pulled from his car and repeatedly punched in the face.
