The Garden State Plaza will reopen for business on Wednesday, a day after gunman RIchard Shoop opened fire as the mall was preparing to close.

The Paramus mall will open at 6 a.m. on for retailers and their employees to get their store ready for business with all entrances open at 10 a.m. according to a post on their Facebook page.

“We are grateful to law enforcement for their response and for keeping everyone safe,” stated Bryan Gaus, Westfield Garden State Plaza General Manager. “The Paramus community has been incredible and the center and our retailers are appreciative. We look forward to expressing our thanks to employees, retailers and shoppers in the days ahead.”

Gaus in his post warned that there some areas damaged by the search of mall and by Shoop's gunfire that are still under  repair.

Shoop fired 6 times inside the mall on Monday night before eventually turning the gun on himself.
