Garbage Truck Spills Load On Turnpike

A truck hauling garbage on the New Jersey Turnpike flipped over this morning spilling its load just in time for the morning commute.

The truck flipped in the northbound car lanes near exit 12 in Carteret leaving just one lane open as crews cleaned up the garbage. New Jersey Fast Traffic had delays back to the area of exit 11 for the Garden State Parkway around 8:45AM. No word on when the trash should be cleaned up.
