Fugitive NJ preacher accused of abusing another child, in Nicaragua
A Jersey City Pentecostal preacher on the run is accused of groping a 15-year-old boy in Nicaragua.
Gregorio Martinez was convicted in 2015 of molesting a 13-year-old boy who attended his Union City church. He's also accused of molesting three young adults, ages 18 and 19 according to NJ Advance Media. He was free on $250,000 bail when he left the United States according to the news organization, which tracked him to Esteli, Nicaragua.
NJ Advance Media reported a priest there told was told that Martinez touched her son inappropriately, and the priest reported it to Nicaragua's national police. Martinez has since left that country, and it's not known where he is, the report said.
Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez told the news site that her office continues to look for Martinez.
