Friends and family fanned out along the Hoboken waterfront in search of Andrew Jarzyk on Saturday.

A week since he disappeared after a jog along the Hudson River, they gathered at the entrance to Pier A Park in Hoboken Volunteers handed out fliers in Hoboken as well as neighboring Weehawken and Jersey City according to News 12 New Jersey.

Friends were also trying to dispel rumors that the 27-year-old was intoxicated after a night with friends. One unidentified friend told the Jersey Journal, "Just put his name out there, report the facts, that's the best we can do," he told the Jersey Journal. "We don't want people digging up his past."

Andrew's sister-in-law Karyn Jarzyk was gratetful for the release of surveillance that shows him jogging and is hopeful additional video may also show him.

“There are a lot of cameras in the city, private business cameras that they are tracking down. Those are the things they are still working on," she told PIX 11.

The Jarzyk family has posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to Andrew's whereabouts. Anyone with information about Jarzyk should contact Hoboken Police at 201-420-2100.
