More wintry weather is on the way for parts of New Jersey.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory covering 7 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday for  Warren, Somerset, Morris, Sussex and Hunterdon counties.

The precipitation will begin as a combination of light snow and sleet and then turn into freezing rain overnight.

The weather service says any accumulations will be minimal but that untreated surfaces could freeze over.

A warm front will move through the area bringing temperatures into the 40s on Saturday with light rain for the entire area.

Eastern New England will get the worst of this storm with 6-10 inches of snow expected to fall starting tomorrow afternoon.
