Freezing rain overnight in north Jersey will cause a slick early Monday morning commute.

The frozen precipitation will begin falling after 3:00a.m. according to the Freezing Rain Advisory issued by the National Weather Service for Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Passaic, Bergen, Sussex counties and make untreated surfaces, bridges & overpasses very slippery for the morning drive.

Warmer air will move into the area after 8AM and precipitation will turn to all rain by 10AM.

The rest of the state will have a change to rain earlier in the overnight hours.
