Free apps can save you $$$

[/caption]If you own a smart phone or perhaps  will receive one as a gift, you'll have access to all kinds of apps.

Some of the best apps are free.  Better than that, some of those free apps will save you money.  Here's a good link to check out.  http://www.freenew.net/  A few examples.  An app called "Price Check" will let you know if you're getting the best deal on a certain product.  You can scan a bar code, take a picture, or just say the product's name and BINGO, the app will give you the best price.  There are apps that give us the best prices for groceries and gas.
