A month after being arrested on an assault charge, former Rutgers University football player Ruhann Peele was arrested again and faces an additional assault charge.

Peele was arrested Oct. 20 by Piscataway Police as a result of charges stemming from an alleged assault that took place Oct. 9 in the area of Easton Avenue and Mine Street in New Brunswick.

According to an article on NJ.com, "Peele is accused of punching a victim in the face, causing a facial fracture."

The former football player is no longer in police custody. the victim, according to the website, was hospitalized following the incident.

Peele was one of six current and former players arrested following an alleged assault that took place in the spring and involved a Rutgers student who suffered a broken jaw.

Peele was not among those charged in a series of home invasions that led to the arrests of three other former members of the Rutgers football team.
