Former NJ School Official Pleads Guilty to Child Porn

A former central New Jersey school administrator has admitted to possessing child pornography.

Fifty-three-year-old Nicholas Sysock of Rahway entered his plea Wednesday. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced Aug. 15..

Federal prosecutors say that between May 2008 and March 2011, Sysock purchased numerous DVDs that contained child porn from a company in Canada. During a search of his residence in October 2012, investigators found the DVDs and printed images featuring naked children.

At the time of his arrest, Sysock was a vice principal at Carteret High School.
