Politics can be a fickle business, and no one knows that more than Gov. Chris Christie.

Christie has drawn the ire of one of his biggest supporters, former New York governor George Pataki.

Pataki blasted Christie for refusing to campaign for New York GOP gubernatorial candidate, Rob Astorino, who badly trails Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) in current polls.

Christie said he will not help Astorino because the Republican Governor's Association does not 'invest in lost causes.'

"To me, it's incomprehensible and disappointing," Pataki told the New York Daily News.

The governor has not responded to Pataki's criticism. He is vacationing in California with his family.
