Former Atlantic Club casino sold for $13.5M
ATLANTIC CITY (AP) — Atlantic City's former Atlantic Club casino hotel sold for $13.5 million to a Florida firm that plans to run it as a non-gambling facility.
The Press of Atlantic City reports the purchase price was revealed in property records filed in Atlantic County.
The property was sold May 29, but the price was not disclosed at the time.
TJM Properties bought the Atlantic Club, which shut down in January.
The company also bought the former Claridge Hotel Casino in February for $12.5 million.
The property has had several names over the years including The Grand, Bally’s Grand, the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Hotel, ACH, and finally the Atlantic Club according to the Press.
