When my father died in September 2015 I remember planning the wake at Clayton and McGrr funeral home and wishing we could have served food there as part of the services.

Whenever you went to visit my Dad, he would always offer you food and it seemed such a shame that we could not all share a meal or a toast one last time with him there.

We spoke about this when I returned to my show on New Jersey 101.5. New Jersey is one of the few states that do not allow eating at funeral homes but now that could be changing if proposed legislation is approved by state lawmakers.
