Georgia-to-Delaware Commute  – Accident investigators are looking into what role a long commute may have played in last weeks fatal Turnpike accident that also critically injured actor Tracy Morgan.  Walmart driver Kevin Roper lived in Georgia…but his job was based in Delaware.  Walmart wont explain what his driving route was. Meanwhile, Roper was in court Wednesday pleading not guilty to death by auto.  A judge allowed him to remain free on bail but make sure the court knows where he is at all times.

Better Economy Crowds Roads – Is it taking you longer to get to work these days? A new report finds as the economy slowly improves in New Jersey, the state’s highways and byways are becoming more crowded

Lincoln Tunnel Hoax – Social media exploded this week with word of a sniper taking aim at commuters on the New Jersey side of the Lincoln Tunnel. It turned out to be a hoax and now police have arrested the hoaxter. who placed a 9-1-1 call to Weehawken police on Tuesday.

“Wandering Monk” – As the controversy continues over the terrorist swap that freed Sgt Bowe Bergdahl some disturbing writings have surfaced on a Facebook page started by the former POW. Under the name “Wandering Monk” Bergdahl often criticized his military commanders and government leaders and questioned his role as a solder. The writings also note a struggle with his own mental stability something friends have echoed. His last post was made just a few weeks before he was taken prisoner.

Random Shooting – It’s looking more like the latest school shooting, in Oregon was totally random. Police have not been able to make any link between the 15-year old shooter and the 14-year old he shot dead in the high school locker oom. But those who knew Jared Padgett say he had a fascination with guns

Drivers Licenses for Illegals? – A Trenton lawmaker is bringing back the idea of giving what amounts to a drivers license to illegals. Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D) will bring his bill before the Assembly Transportation Committee today. No vote is expected. Under his proposal, illegals in the US for at least five years and with no criminal record would be eligible for the driving cards

“Millionaire’s” Tax? - State Senator Ray Lesniak is out with a new tax hike plan. It would hit anyone with an income over $350,000 He says it would raise $850M for the state.
